- Purchase Energy Star products (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc)
- Insulate your water heater
- Install a low flow shower head
- Install a low flow toliet
- Buy CFL light bulbs (Switching can save about $40 dollars)

Go Green and Save!!
Saving the enviroment can help you save big bucks. Concerns such as climate change are alerting Americans to take care of the world. We can all do our part to improve the quality of life by "Going Green" or making conscious decisions about the enviroment we live in. According to the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the IRS offers tax credit for those who purchase energy-efficent products and appliances. Here are a few ways we can protect mother Earth.

I heard somewhere that those new light bulbs might have some flicker associated with them. Someone in my family already has headaches so we ended up switch back to incandescent for the time being. I'm waiting to hear more about those bulbs before I fully embrace them.
